One of the things I've been wanting to try is to work on paintings done in mostly "shades of white" and a bit more abstract. So hard for me to resist adding colors. So, lets see how this goes.
For this first one, I chose a closeup photo of some apple blossoms I took last spring, I love the "grid" that surrounded the flowers made by the branches and shadows cast by the afternoon sun. Had to hold my self back from using more colors and definitely a big change for me, but as it turned out I really enjoyed it.
